About Revalu
Revalu is an AI-powered resale valuation and portfolio-management platform. We help users photograph items, identify them, estimate resale value, generate listing information, organize their portfolio, and discover other users and items.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of Revalu, and technical information necessary to operate the service.
- Account information. Name, email address, username, password, and any profile information you choose to add.
- Authentication information. When you sign in through Apple, Google, or other supported providers, we receive the authentication tokens and profile details they share with us.
- Photos. Images you upload so Revalu can identify, analyze, and value your items.
- Item information. Brand, category, size, condition, color, resale estimates, descriptions, listing information, keywords, and any notes you add.
- Portfolio and profile activity. Items you save, organize, mark public or private, and other portfolio-related activity.
- Public and social activity. Follows, public items, public profile information, and interactions with other users when you use social or discovery features.
- Technical information. Device type, browser, IP address, operating system, crash logs, usage patterns, and performance data.
How information is used
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain Revalu;
- Authenticate users and keep accounts secure;
- Identify, analyze, and value items you upload;
- Generate resale estimates, titles, descriptions, keywords, and listing content;
- Maintain your portfolio, profile, and preferences;
- Improve AI models, product quality, and user experience where permitted;
- Detect and prevent security incidents, abuse, fraud, and harmful activity;
- Respond to customer support requests; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
AI processing
Uploaded photos and item information may be processed by AI systems and third-party AI infrastructure to identify products, estimate resale values, and generate content.
AI-generated valuations are estimates only. They are not appraisals, guarantees, or offers to purchase. Actual sale prices may differ materially.
Third-party services
Revalu relies on third-party service providers that may process information on our behalf. These include providers of cloud hosting, database services, authentication, AI models, resale marketplace data, analytics, security, and other infrastructure.
When you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, their privacy practices and terms apply to the information they collect and share with us.
Marketplace data
Revalu may retrieve or display publicly available or licensed resale-market information, comparable listings, sales data, or marketplace information from third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, accuracy, or terms of those third-party platforms.
User-created and public content
Information you mark public, including public portfolio items, public profile information, and social activity, may be visible to other Revalu users and, in some cases, to the public. You control visibility settings for your items and profile where those features are available.
Data storage and security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You submit information at your own risk.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide Revalu, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. Some information may remain in backups or logs for limited periods even after it is deleted from active systems.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete your Revalu account and its associated active data at any time from Account Settings inside the app. Deleting your account removes your profile, items, photos, and related active records from our live systems.
Some information may remain for a limited period in encrypted backups, security logs, or records we are required to keep by law, and is deleted or overwritten on our normal retention cycle. Cookies / similar technology
Revalu and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies for authentication, remembering preferences, security, and analytics. You can control many of these technologies through your browser settings.
Children
Revalu is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.
US privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or restrict certain processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@revaluai.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
International users
Your information may be processed or stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where Revalu or its service providers operate. By using Revalu, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in these jurisdictions.
Policy changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date. Your continued use of Revalu after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
